ALMOND EYE SURGERY (Kantoplasty)

More attractive eyes, deeper looks are everyone's desire. In recent years, one of the applications that has started to take place on the agenda in parallel with eyelid aesthetic surgeries is almond eye or cantoplasty surgery. Although its name seems to be for aesthetic purposes only, such applications have been performed by oculoplastic surgeons for years, especially for the correction of some deformities.

The main purpose of almond eye application is to change the angle of the eyelids. For this, it is taken one or two millimeters above the position of the junction of the caps on the ear side.

Almond eye aesthetics is a procedure that we apply to make the candidate look more attractive without disturbing the harmony and symmetry of the eye and face structure. The procedure is performed under local anesthesia with very few aesthetic incisions from the crow's feet lines on the edges of the eyelids. Since the lines around the eyes are used during the procedure, there is usually no scar after the operation. Since it is performed under local anesthesia, the patient is discharged on the same day after the procedure and can continue his social life. Aesthetic sutures placed in about 7-10 days are removed. It is a long-term durable process.
